‘Bee’s Present’ is a series of monochromatic colourful oil paintings that explores and displays feelings of absence. The collection expresses emotions through the recollection of memories, utilising universal characters and specific colours to inhabit each emotion. This is to represent how one can perceive absence in oneself and in others, either physically or emotionally. An encouragement to be present.
