Comicbooks are usually catered towards children. However, Mikelti’s comicbook ‘Starstruck’, projects dark themes and imagery, unlike the usual happy material in children comics.

Focusing on PTSD and trauma, Mikelti display this in a respectful way, teaching viewers in a simple way on what victims experience.
